Description

Precision hydraulic expansion chuck, BT 40 Design: Material with tensile strength of 1600–1800 N/mm², hardness of 52 ± 2 HRC. Hydraulic fluid is compressed using a hydraulic clamping set (pressure screw, pressure pin, seal) using a hexagonal T-key. The pressure forces developed effects even deformation by which the tool shank is being clamped with high concentricity (max. 3 µm). Taper to DIN 254. Hole for data carrier/chip (Ballauf). Taper angle tolerance: AT3 Maximum speed: 40000 min-1. Optimal operating temperature: 20–50 °C. Coolant pressure max: 80 bar. Adjustment track: 10 mm Scope of delivery: Hydro expansion clamping chuck with hexagonal T-key.
