Dowel technology and riveting technology

Dowel technology

Screws in an object, for example a wall, do not cut into a screw thread and therefore have no hold. The solution is to drill a hole in the wall using a drill bit and insert a suitable plug into it. The screw can then be screwed into the plug. When the screw is screwed in, the plumb bob expands. The dowel technique is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use

Riveting technology

Rivets are reliable components and systems for a permanent connection in steel, plastic or other materials. By inserting the rivet into an existing hole, the rivet is plastically formed by hammering or pressing. Different strengths and material thicknesses ensure a secure hold for blind rivet nuts, for example. We would be happy to advise you on our extensive range.

DIN-ISO standard parts and chipboard screws

DIN-ISO standard parts

Compliance with standards is important in the manufacture of screws, nuts and washers. DIN-ISO standardization specifies precise parameters that are used and applicable everywhere. Choose the right standard parts for your application from our extensive range.

Chipboard screws

OSB boards or chipboard should be joined with chipboard screws, as the screws have a thinner core and a larger thread than wood screws and therefore drill better into the material. Chipboard screws are available as cross, slotted or Torx variants in our range.
