Clamping mandrel XPA
Universal clamping system for clamping from all workpiece shapes, whether square, diagonal, concave or convex.
Design: The special feature of this clamping device is the steel screw (strength 10.9) with the eccentric head. The eccentric tappet gives the clamping motion a very high clamping force. A hexagonal brass disc serves as clamping piece.
Application: All workpieces with the most varied shapes can be clamped with retaining studs and 1 or 2 clamping screws. The small installation height enables machining the workpiece surface without problems. Thus, the position of the clamping claws does not have to be taken into account in CNC programming work. In addition, the compact dimensions allow space-saving multiple clamping. The tension clamps can also be used as dog.
Design: Made of construction steel, with hardened and coated clamping screw. The mounting flange diameter is concentric to the clamping diameter so that high repeat accuracy of the parts is achieved.
Application: Almost every workpiece (e.g. rotary part, milled part, drilled parts etc.) has at least one hole, and this is what is used by the XPA clamping mandrel for clamping. Thus clamping takes place from inside enabling machining of the 2nd side without problem. The compact dimensions allow multi-face machining without disturbing edges for the tool. The clamping mandrel can be machined and can be adapted to the respective diameters by turing and milling. Can be automated using hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
