Description

Jaw hollow-out fixture for three-jaw chuck Design: Lightweight construction. Application: For turning unhardened jaws and for grinding hardened base and top jaws. Jaws reversible and infinitely adjustable. The fixture is tensioned in a three-jaw chuck. The adjustment ring on the hollow-out fixture allows the jaws to be moved inwards and outwards as required. The jaws are placed in the bores of the top jaws on the lathe chuck and the chuck is tensioned. The chuck can be set in the position that it will assume when processing workpieces in just a few seconds (pre-tensioning). The cranked clamping surfaces of the chuck jaws are then tensioned form-fit and perfectly concentric.
