Description

Square broach Design: HSS, with pilot pin. This is set into the pre-bored hole in the workpiece and guarantees the perpendicular alignment of the internal square profile. The pre-bored hole (tolerance H8) is selected somewhat larger to make sure only one pass is necessary with short overall length. The cutting edges are finely ground on all sides and ensure a clean surface finish. Application: For manufacturing internal square profiles with high angle precision. No special machines or set-up times necessary. For manufacturing machine elements, templates, welding, drilling and clamping devices. The cutting angle has been designed for steel but can also be used for cast iron, bronze and aluminium.
