Jobber drill with cyl. shank, extra long, HSS, bright surface, nitrated bevels, DIN 1869, type TF, FORMAT Design: Sturdy special drill, profile grinding, right cutting, with precision ground point as well as wide flute length with heavily rounded back edges. Point thinning according to DIN 1412, form A. Angle of rake larger than normal, core thickness considerably thicker than normal and without core gradient. Application: Suitable for drilling extremely deep holes up to 10 x D under difficult conditions such as poor chip removal, therefore causing deficient cooling of the drill tip. Particularly suitable for extremely deep holes in grey cast iron and steels up to 1000 N/mm² in strength. Exception: CrNi steels, INOX steels.
