Application: For setting up tools and moulds, adjusting devices and apparatus, compensating tolerances, shimming devices, aligning machines, bearing clearance setting, etc. Note: The material has been approved for springs in accordance with DIN 17222 (new: DIN EN 10 132-4). Stainless spring band steel 1.4310, slightly magnetic. Good corrosion resistance due to 17% chrome and 7% nickel content. High strength due to cold rolling and high tensile strength of 1500 to 1700 N/mm². Well suited for stainless precision gauge tapes, shims, stainless springs and parts with higher strength.
