VDE cable shears StepCut® XL Design: Made of special grade, special tool steel; forged; hardened and tempered in oil. Burnished head, with adjustable screw joint and clamping protection. Hardened cutting edges with precision sharpening, easy single-handed cutting, smooth, clean and without squashing. With staged cutting action (pre-cut and final cut) using dual cutting edges for effortless, joint-close cuts. Graduated steps position the conductors optimally for smooth severing of even extra-large cables. Up to 60 % power saving thanks to improved lever ratios compared to normal cable shears. Handles with multi-component plastic coating. Application: For cutting single- and multi-wire copper and aluminium cables. Note: Not suitable for steel-reinforced cables (such as ACSR).
