Fibre grinding disc for stainless steel machining, Cubitron ™ II, Ø 115 mm 987C Design: Fully resin-bonded precision grit (Cubitron™ II) on vulcanised fibre backing material, scattered evenly and semi-loose. The individual grains of the ceramic Cubitron™ II abrasives are small, precisely-shaped triangles, perpendicular in arrangement, and uniform in size. They are uniformly distributed but randomly spread, so that each triangle grain can form two chips. Tough grinding with highest removal rate, lasts up to 3 times longer and 40% faster removal. Grinding-activated coating prevents clogging and makes for cooler grinding. Application: In all metal-processing industries, where high removal rates combined with very good surface finishes need to be achieved. For use with backing bad on all angle grinders. Ideal for surface grinding, pre- and post-welding work on stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and nickel alloys.
