Piloted countersink combination system Design: Consisting of holder, countersink and pilot. The GFS piloted countersink combination system covers a wide range of bore-countersinking combinations, with the countersinks and pilots within a range of variation options of the holder. This results in the following advantages: 1. Only 4 holder sizes are required for a working range of 5 mm to 85 mm. 2. The pilots are rotating in size 1 from Ø 8.5 mm and in size 2 from Ø 14.0 mm and provided with internal cooling. 3. Countersink HSS-TiN coated and with brazed carbide cutting edges are available from the factory warehouse. 4. The pilot counterbore are also available with inserts from Ø 32 mm. 5. The individual elements can be combined in any way within one size. 6. The pilots can be replaced without removing the countersink. Application: Suitable for DIN countersinking as well as for counterbored and countersink combinations for stepped bores or countersinks outside the standard. The holder remains in the machine when changing. The countersink and pin are clamped using a hexagon screwdriver according to DIN 911. Note: Sufficient supply of coolant is essential.
