Description

Test adapter EV 3-2 Design: Compatible with single-phase and three-phase EV charging stations (EVSE) of charging mode 3 with type 2 connector. Enables secure connection between the installation tester and the charging station. Simulates an electric vehicle with various charging states. Rotary switch for Proximity Pilot (PP) –simulates the charging cable. Rotary switch for Control Pilot (CP) –simulates the vehicle. Separate phase indicators with three LEDs as soon as the charging station supplies power. Test socket and 4 mm banana jacks for simple connection to an installation tester. BNC connection for oscilloscope measurement of the pulse-width modulated CP signal. Tests the EVSE locking mechanism from status B (prevents release of the charging cable). Supplied with test adapter and protective case. Note: Enables safety and function testing of AC charging stations (wallboxes) for electric vehicles using the BENNING IT 130 (RCD I, 6 mA DC ramp for EV RCD) and IT 200 (RCD I + RCD t for RDC-DD as per IEC 62955), in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-600 and DIN VDE 0105-100.
