Correcting wedge with recessed hexagon Design: Made of tempered ductile cast iron and steel, annealed in burnished finish. With 12 mm Ø centre hole. The correcting wedge can easily be adjusted using normal manual force under 1/3 load of load capacity (F max.). The finely machined wedge surfaces allow smooth, sensitive adjustment, more precise than 1/10 mm, optionally by knurled thumb screw or hexagon screwdriver. Precise vertical movements without lateral displacement are ensured thanks to the double wedge action. Application: For clamping delicate cast iron or forgings on large machine tools. There is also the possibility to place the correcting wedge onto “heavy screw jacks”. This requires parallel pins DIN 6325 (12 x 30 mm).
