WEMAG GmbH & Co. KG respects the privacy of its customers and is committed to protecting your personal information. The use of personal data is subject to the regulations of the Federal German Data Protection Act as well as the legal regulations of the German Telemedia Act.

Collecting and Processing of Data
Your personal identifying information includes, for example, order placement information such as name, mailing address, bank account details or e-mail. This information is used to reply to your requests, to send you information or to deliver your requested products.
We collect, process and store your personal information solely in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).  Below, we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the information we collect and process. Each access to our website and every retrieval of files stored on the site gets logged. Data storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following are logged: name of the retrieved file, date and time of the retrieval, amount of data transferred, message about successful retrieval, web browser and requesting domain. Additionally, the IP addresses of the requesting computers are logged. Deletion of data
Generally we delete personal information when there is no requirement for further storage.  A requirement may exist, in particular, if the data is still needed in order to be able to fulfill contractual obligations, to examine warranty claims and, if applicable, guarantee claims and to grant or defend such.  In the case of legal storage obligations, a deletion is considered feasible only after expiration of the respective retention obligation.


Objections
You are entitled, at any time, to object the further utilisation of your personal information. In such case, we will delete your personal information. The deletion shall be exercised in accordance with the deadlines defined in the German Telemedia Act. Data for billing and accounting purposes are not affected. You have the right to file a complaint in reference to our processing methods of personal data with a data protection supervisory authority.
