Jobber drill with cyl. shank Design: Sturdy special drill bit, profile-ground, right-hand cutting, with precise point grinding and wide flutes with strongly rounded back edges. Point thinning according to DIN 1412, form A. Angle of rake larger than normal, core thickness considerably thicker than normal and without core gradient. Application: Suitable for drilling extremely deep holes up to 10 x D under difficult conditions such as poor chip evacuation and the resulting inadequate cooling of the drill bit tip. Particularly suitable for extremely deep holes in grey cast iron and steels up to 1000 N/mm² in strength. Exception: CrNi steels, INOX steels.
